The last meeting of the European project Erasmus "My culture, our culture, your culture"  was successfully completed via online (virtual meeting)

Virtual mobility lasted 6 days  and the issues were examined were:

1. The role and importance of cultural education in Kindergarten and 

2. The redefinition of the role of popular tradition in cultural education.

It also included, in addition to the welcome from children and teachers of the Polish school -where physical mobility would take place - presentations of project activities from September 2018 until today as well as presentations related to teaching methods that support cultural education in preschool education ,Polish customs and  presentation of good practices applied during the implementation of the project activities.

During the meeting, partners visited virtual the host school, and watched learning and teaching activities in groups. An event held by the host school with the participation of children ,other teachers and parents.Children presented traditional songs,dances and customs ,prepared traditional food and an exhibition with old things from the past. 
Also we had the opportunity to watch videos with the seesights of Krakow  and the castle of Babel.  

The Polish school was responsible for organizing the teleconference, while the Greek and Polish coordinators worked together to formulate the final program. The aim of the project is to cultivate cultural awareness in children, starting from a very young age!

All partners presented their work of the following topics which were the main objectibve of this train sort event.

1. The role and importance of cultural education in Kindergarten

In the first part of seminar developed presentations and suggestions that were put into practice in the participating schools and will be good practices in the fiture for other schools too.

Cultural heritage in pre school education , as the first step of systemic education of children has the potential contribute of shaping features and preparing prospective sensitive citizens who know their past, history and culture, creating conditions for a better future and the social-economic development and prosperity of their place of living, and of Europe in general.

2. The redefinition of the role of popular tradition in cultural education.

The role of preserving and transmitting our cultural inheritance to the younger generations is mainly the primary responsibility of the school to integrate the teaching of our cultural inheritance into the educational process starting from the Kindergarten where the characters and life attitudes are shaped and there is therefore, a question of redefining the position of culture and tradition in the educational process, not only in the context of the European Union but also of globalization.

After this  meeting ,teachers implemented their new knowledge and skills practically on children and the new knowledge and experience integrated to every partners school in everyday learning activities hereafter and shared their knowledge about culture of Portugal with other school teachers and parents.

Τhe Polish school sent a box with material and gifts to all partners and an exhibition was organized in every school. All partners decided to create a guide with good practices which applied in every participating institution ,during the implementation of the projec

Questionnaires prepared after cooperation of all partners ,shared to children, parents, other teachers and  local community for final  project  evaluation.The questionnaires was online (via google forms and survey monkey ),oral and written .Instructions were given about the product of project outcomes and their dissemination.

All results uploaded in the twinspace of our project and in web site of this project.
